18 “I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. 19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18.18-20 |

The following is a sample of those testimonies : _____________________________________________________________________________ 1. “Jesus Christ
means the savior of my life. He saved my life.
He helped me through the bad times and the good times. I accept Him as my savior. He died on the cross for my sins and for my
family’s sins as well. I pray you all
will find Him sooner or later.”
2. (Cindy encouraging
the boys to come forward) “Jesus is my Lord and my savior. I love Him and He loves me. The Word tells me that if I am ashamed of Him
He is going to be ashamed of me, so why are you guys sitting there. He loves you, He died for you, He gave
everything He had for you. He bled, He
cried! What more guys could He have done for you?
3. “Jesus Christ is the person I fear the most and the
person I love the most. Everything I do
I try to do it in His name. Everything I
do bad I try to ask Him for forgiveness and help through hard times I don’t care who knows it and I do this until
the day I die.”
4. “Jesus to me is like a father, a parent. He gave me everything. He gave me family. I am thankful for everything He has given me. He gave me so much that I don’t know what to
give Him back. I think I will give Him
faith in Him and trust. I will give him
this life.”
5. “Jesus means to me my hope and love. Hope that I can believe in the bible more,
Hope I can change what I have done wrong. Love for family and friends and Jesus Christ.”
6. “Jesus means to me that we would not be here if it was
not for Him. We wouldn’t have a second chance.
We would not have the people that want to help us change our lives and
have the faith to believe in Jesus Christ.”
7. “What Jesus means to me.
He died on the cross for us. He
gave us family and a second chance.”
8. “What Jesus Christ means is He died on the cross for
us. He is love. Ever since I accepted Jesus Christ a few
months ago He has made a big difference in my life. I have seen what He could do in my life and
He is the one thing I can rely on when no one else is there for me. Everyone
can promise you everything but the one thing I know is if you accepted Jesus
Christ He is going to make a big difference in your life. He is good.”
9. “Jesus is my guide, my compass, my GPS, my direction. He points me where I need to go. He directs me where He wants me to go.”
10. “What Jesus means
to me is my freedom because if it was not for Him I would probably be somewhere
else. He gave me the opportunity to
change my life.”
11. “Jesus Christ is the most important person in my
life. He is the one I have the most
respect for. And the way I am going to
pay Him back is to be a better person and help other people.”
12. “What Jesus means to me is He always gives me second
chances. When I was at home I was always
in trouble but when I came here I got a second chance. It has been a good thing for me to accept God
in my life.”
13. “Besides my Lord and Savior, Jesus is my best
friend. I say that because a true friend
is someone that is there for you when you are not there for you. I have always realized that. Every time I start feeling sorry for myself
or feeling really bad because of things that are not even my fault, suddenly
Jesus reminds me that He is there for me even though I am not.”
14. “ Jesus to me is
a savior, He is hope and faith and love.
I have hope in Jesus because He is the only one who knows my
future. I started to believe in God a
couple of months ago and ever since then my life has turned around. Not great but better. It will get better sooner of later.”
15. “What Jesus means to me is He gave me a second chance
and my life is changing. He gave me two
grandmas. I hope that when I am free I
get to save others.”
16. “Jesus Christ is the Son of God. You need to put your
trust in that. He talks about the
narrow and the wide road and we should always walk the narrow way.”
17. “What Jesus Christ means to me is know one can take that
away from me. Even though I have a grandmother at home and lost two
grandfathers, no one can take Him that away from me.”
18. “Jesus to me is the King of Kings, the Lord of all lords,
the Son of God. He is like my
father. He is always there when ever I
need Him. I tell you guys if you need
Him just ask and He will come.”
19. “Jesus is to me my life, my Lord, my Savior, my God, my
Holy Spirit. He has given me a life to
live. Without Him I wouldn’t be
here. He has given me a lot of chances. What you all need to do is get Him in your
life. I will be praying for you all.
20. Today I just want to say I am a new believer in Jesus
Christ. Before this I was just going through the motions to see if I
could get by. Now I am a true believer. It has helped a lot.
God bless all of you.
21. Once I started
coming here I gave Him my heart. I am still worried about my grandfather.
He fades away and then comes back. I will never stop worrying about him.
22. When I was back
at home I was going to church every Sunday but I wasn’t really into it, not
paying attention, but when I came here something just happened. I don’t
know what but the Holy Spirit just hit me and I just woke up and opened eyes,
heard knocking so I let Jesus into my life. Things are now looking
better, my mother and father are well, my brother finally got a job. All I got
to say to you is do what you got to do.
23. Back home I went to church classes and church but I was
just there. Why should I believe this? What proof is there?
Last Saturday I learned that in 2000 years nobody has been able to prove it is
wrong, that is there is no such thing as God, there is no such thing as Jesus
Christ.
24. When I came here I was real bad, I had a lot of
troubles and I was always getting in trouble. Now I am doing good and in
phase 3 and will be in phase 4 soon. My grandmother does not like my mom
and when I told them my mom was coming to family day they said they would never
see us again but last family day they all got together to see me.
25. My mom is very sad that we are apart and it hurts me
that she is there and I am here so I have got to do what I have to do to get
back home.
26. In tears this boy said; “My grandma is 85 and not doing
well and I am afraid I will never be able to see her again. I don’t know
what to do. Please pray for me. Ken came forward and encourage the
young man to “Cast all his care on Him for He cares for you.”
27. I was involved in the youth ministry back home but I
began back sliding. Yesterday I got a my church news letter from home and
I was happy that the same youth group that I was apart of six months ago is
thriving again. I would go to church and all it activities on Sunday but
by Wednesday night I was back sliding again. When I came here my faith
was gone but now it is returning. The Lord is with me and God bless you
all.
28. When I got here I was the worse kid in the joint but
then I accepted God and now I am doing things the right way. I have been
going through some family problems and I have been praying to God for some
help. I have been praying for my grandparents and when I talked with my
mom she said they are doing good. God made a great change in my life.
29. I know it is hard being here but God is with me.
I made a mess but God is going to help me clean it up. I pray to God
everyday.
30. I know there is a God for if there was no God I
probably wouldn’t be here. I know there are miracles because we are here
and He has given us a second chance to make something better out of our
lives. Your life might have been good before but it is going to turn out
better after you get out of here. A lot better. You will come out
more wiser. I know there are miracles because before I got here I was
abandon by my mom and now she has decided to come back into my life. I
know that she cares now. All I can say is if you do not believe in God
there is something missing. There is nothing like the feeling you get
when you here about God, when you talk about God. It is a good feeling.
When something good happens to you then you know that someone is there making
it happen.
_________________________________________________________________________Lockhart Pegasus Ministry prayer for the boys: Our Father we lift up to your caring hands all these young men and
those listed on the Honor Roll. They have
successfully completed the Pegasus program and returned to the outside
world. Keep them from the evil that
would destroy all that you have accomplished in their lives. Please send your servants to visit with each
one and assist in finding a place of solace where they may grow in faith. Lastly dear Father remind each one by way of
your Spirit that we long to hear from them.
