was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. Matthew 12:24 But when
the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out
demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.” Revelation 9:11 Their
king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew
is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon—the Destroyer. 2. Expelled From Heaven Luke 10:18 “Yes,” he
told them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! 2 Peter 2:4 For God
did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in

his heel.” 1 John 3:8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they
belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of

of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of

seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in
chains for a thousand years. 7. Final Activities and
End Revelation 20:7-8 When
the thousand years come to an end, Satan will be let out of his
prison. 8 He will go out to deceive the nations—called Gog and
Magog—in every corner of the earth. He will gather them together for battle—a
mighty army, as numberless as sand along the seashore. Revelation 20:10 Then
the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning
sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented
