1. Other Titles
Matthew 4:1 Then Jesus
was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil.
Matthew 12:24 But when
the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out
demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”
Revelation 9:11 Their
king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew
is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon—the Destroyer.

Luke 10:18 “Yes,” he
told them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning!
2 Peter 2:4 For God
did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in
gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of
judgment.
Revelation 12:9 This
great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving
the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

Activities
John 13:2 It was time
for supper, and the devil had already prompted Judas, son of Simon
Iscariot, to betray Jesus.
Acts 5:3 Then Peter
said, “Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy
Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself.
1 Peter 5:8 Stay
alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a
roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
Job 2:6 “All right, do
with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan. “But spare his life.”
Revelation 2:10 Don’t
be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you
into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain
faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.
Revelation
16:14 They are demonic spirits who
work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for
battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.

Genesis 3:15 And I
will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and
her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike
his heel.”
1 John 3:8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they
belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of
God came to destroy the works of the devil.

Ephesians 6:10-11 A
final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.11 Put on all
of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of
the devil.
6. The Period of his
Impotence
Revelation 20:2 He
seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in
chains for a thousand years.
7. Final Activities and
End
Revelation 20:7-8 When
the thousand years come to an end, Satan will be let out of his
prison. 8 He will go out to deceive the nations—called Gog and
Magog—in every corner of the earth. He will gather them together for battle—a
mighty army, as numberless as sand along the seashore.
Revelation 20:10 Then
the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning
sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented
day and night forever and ever.
