The Heavenly Reward 1. Reward of Obedience Deuteronomy 4:40 If
you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well
with you and your children. I am giving you these instructions so you will
enjoy a long life in the land the Lord your God is giving you for all
time.” 2. Reward of Faithfulness
- Righteousness Matthew 24:45-47 “A
faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the
responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding
them. 46 If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a
good job, there will be a reward.47 I tell you the truth, the master will
put that servant in charge of all he owns. Romans 2:10 But there
will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew
first and also for the Gentile. 3. Reward of Patience Hebrews 10:36 Patient
endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will.
Then you will receive all that he has promised. 4. Of Perseverance and
Endurance Galatians 6:9 So let’s
not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a
harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 5. The Measure of Reward 1 Corinthians 3:8 The
one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And
both will be rewarded for their own hard work. 6. The Heavenly Reward Luke 6:22-23 What
blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse
you as evil because you follow the Son of 2 Timothy 4:8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of
his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look
