it: or in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

return unto God who gave it.

forgotten.

judgment:
5. IS DESIRED

word:

willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Ph 1.23
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be
with Christ; which is far better:
6. DEATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall
have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then
shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory.
Ps 23.4

no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

death of his saints.
Re. 14.13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto
me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea,
saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do
follow them.
7. DEATH OF THE WICKED

shall perish: and the hope of unjust [men] perisheth.

[man]; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

8. PREPARATION FOR DEATH
De. 32.29 O that they were wise, [that] they understood
this, [that] they would consider their latter end!
Ps. 90.12 So teach [us] to number our days, that we may
apply [our] hearts unto wisdom.
Ro. 8.38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come, Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
